Celadon Green Handwoven Kitchen Towel

Elegant enough to display, but durable enough to withstand heavy use, our highly absorbent towel is a beautiful and purposeful addition to any kitchen. Handwoven in a thick pebble weave structure in a soft silver gray, it soaks in water with remarkable thirst, and has a wonderful textural quality for busy hands to enjoy. Designed to endure everyday hard work and frequent laundering.

Individually handcrafted in our Main Street studio by our master weavers from the finest USA cotton. Slight variations in color may occur from piece to piece, an artisanal hallmark of the handwoven process.

Toss them in the laundry, not the trash. Our dinner napkins are highly durable, meant to be washed and used again and again (and again). Machine was cold and tumble dry low. Iron as needed.

Crafted by hand from start to finish in our Main Street weaving studio.

Our masterful artisans begin by thoughtfully selecting colors and fibers inspired by our surrounding landscape, then determine a pattern and desired weave structure for their design.

Next they wind the fiber onto bobbins then wind the loom’s warp, a meticulously calculated process that sets the path of each and every thread used. These threads are manually connected to specific harnesses and securely hand-tied to “dress the loom”. Once this stage is complete, they can begin to weave.

Countless passes of the shuttle commence, rhythmic, muted sounds of wooden pedals fill the studio and a beautiful textile begins to emerge. The handwoven process continues until the piece reaches its full length, at which point it is cut from the loom. Tassels are hand-knotted onto the ends, and a small label is hand-sewn onto the textile as the weaver’s final touch.

Most purchases are shipped to arrive within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of the order.

Expedited Shipping:
All orders placed before 12pm Monday-Friday will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 12pm Monday-Friday will be shipped out the morning of the next business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or holidays will be shipped the next business day.
