Our Story
On April 1, 1968, Nantucket Looms opened its doors at 16 Main Street, founded by William Euler and Andrew Oates to create a year-round production weaving studio and gift shop that supported the local community. Liz Winship, who was with the business for forty years, expanded operations to include full interior design services. Today, Nantucket Looms continues to honor its founding values at 51 Main Street, employing retail shop staff,  weavers, digital marketers, interior designers, and warehouse managers year-round. From our humble beginnings, Nantucket Looms has grown into a world-class home furnishings brand, proudly showcasing the work of hundreds of artisans—basket makers, carvers, jewelers, painters, and photographers. Visit us at our shop on Main Street to explore our timeless collections and witness the artistry of our weavers crafting beautiful, all-natural handwoven textiles in our second-floor weaving studio.
