This Handwoven Scallop Vignette is designed and crafted on Nantucket by our very own Master Weaver, Rebecca Jusko Peraner. Scallop shells are collected from the beaches of Nantucket and woven on a loom with linen hand-dyed yarn, to create an exquisite, one-of-a-kind piece.

Mochaware is antique earthenware that originated in late 18th-century England and eventually made its way to America. It is identified by its distinctive slip-decorated patterns, one of the most common being the “earthworm.” This piece is especially interesting because of its surprisingly modern design in shades of a beautiful, vivid blue.  It is best utilized for decorative purposes only.
